Objective:The aim of this study is to examine the sex cord stromal tumors of the ovary operated in our clinic in the last 4 years and to contribute to the literature on this rare tumor.Method:The clinical and laboratory findings of 34 patients with pathological diagnosis of ovarian sex cord stromal tumor, who were operated in our obstetrics and gynecology clinic between 2016 and 2020, were evaluated retrospectively. Pathological diagnoses were classified and other accompanying pathologies and complaints were evaluated for each type. Results:Ovarian sex cord stromal tumors usually attract attention with the peripheral effects of the hormones produced by the tumor tissue. They rarely come to very large sizes. They are mostly benign. When the hormone estrogen is produced, accompanying endometrial pathologies should not be overlooked. Hormonal complaints in patients improve dramatically after surgery both clinically and laboratory. Oncological follow-up is required following diagnosis in some malignant types. Conclusion:If ovarian sex cord stromal tumor is suspected, preoperative blood androgen levels, inhibin A, and alpha feto protein (AFP) should be evaluated. In addition, ultrasonographic and, if necessary, endometrial histopathological evaluations are important for patient follow-up as well as diagnosis. The patient's fertility desire and age should be considered during treatment

Prognostic value of EEG findings in cerebral palsy rehabilitation-EEG of 32 cerebral palsy patient who are treated according to the with rehabilitation program by the Bobath technique were evaluated. Patients motor improvement was assessed by motor development test. The difference and monthly improvement scores were compared with EEG findings which is defined between 1-9 points. No correlation was found. On the other hand there were no significant difference also in the motor development parameters if we separete patients into two group according to their EEG's such as normal and abnormal

Objective: To evaluate retrospectively the prevalence of cervical cytological abnormalities in patient records obtained from healthcare centers in Turkey. Method: Demographic characteristics and data on cervical cytological abnormalities were evaluated from patients who underwent flap tests in healthcare centers in 2007. Results: Data were collected from 33 healthcare centers totaling 140 334 patients. Overall, the prevalence of cervical cytological abnormalities was 1.8%; the prevalence of ASCUS, ASC-H, LSIL, HSIL, and AGC was 1.07%, 0.07%, 0.3%, 0.17%, and 0.08%, respectively. The prevalence of preinvasive cervical neoplasia was 1.7% and the prevalence of cytologically diagnosed invasive neoplasia was 0.06%. Conclusion: The abnormal cervical cytological prevalence rate in Turkey is lower than in Europe and North America. This might be due to sociocultural differences, lack of population-based screening programs, or a lower HPV prevalence rate in Turkey
